Homemade pasta according to Mum's secret recipe

Enjoy unique Italian pasta

Our homemade pasta does not come from wholesalers. Our mum prepares the pasta in front of you in the pasta corner. She demonstrates fascinating dexterity in the process. See for yourself!
Their recipe for the pasta dough is top secret and has been guarded and constantly developed by our family for generations. It's not just the flavour of Mamma's pasta that is unique. You won't find the shapes of the pasta in any other restaurant. Mamma gives her pasta an unmistakable look that can only come from your hands. With us you are guaranteed homemade pasta!

Homemade pasta with class

Mamma's pasta is made without chemical additives and from fresh eggs. Great care is taken with the composition of the pasta dough, because only with the right mix of ingredients and the perfect cooking time can the pasta achieve its unmistakable consistency.

„al dente“ means firm to the bite. The pasta is cooked but not too soft. Contrary to many rumours, they must not stick. They must offer a noticeable resistance to the teeth, but must not be too hard so that you can concentrate on the wonderful flavour instead of chewing. Enjoy the flavour experience that homemade pasta will give you. Visit us and see for yourself!

The flavour of experience

Our homemade pasta and your culinary experiences in our house are the result of years of experience. Mamma's pasta recipe has been around for generations. The special shapes of her pasta are her personal touch, which she puts into the recipe, just as her mum before her developed the pasta with her own ideas. You can taste this wealth of experience of an Italian family in the dish of your choice.

The management of the restaurant is also based on the many years of experience of the two chefs. Both have lived in Dresden since 2000 and have gained extensive experience in various catering establishments in Dresden. They got to know the Saxon culture and combined it with their own. The result of this can be found in the restaurant MammaMia! at Kreuzstraße 1-3, right next to the Kreuzkirche in Dresden.
